Independent electrical engineering advice · Perth, WA
A practical, one-site review of industrial and commercial electricity costs: bills, interval demand, tariff rules and written offers, brought together in a clear set of findings.
For site owners and managers who want the numbers checked before making a change.
Electricity cost review
A clear first pass for one industrial or commercial site. The aim is to separate changes in how the site operates from changes that actually reduce the bill.
Break down energy, network, demand and other charges. Reconcile billed quantities, rates and billing periods against the available documents.
Use up to twelve consecutive months of interval readings to see seasonal usage, peak periods and whether a demand reduction would change the billed amount.
Apply actual written offers to the same usage profile, including relevant tariff rules and contract terms, before identifying a plausible saving.
A defined piece of work
The review is done remotely using the records you provide. If information is missing, the findings will say so plainly.
Remote electricity cost review for one site, with scope agreed before work begins. No site visit is included.
GST is not charged.Recent bills, ideally twelve consecutive months of interval readings in CSV format, and any written retailer offers or contract documents you want assessed.
The charges and usage are checked in an Excel analysis. Demand scenarios and available offers are tested against the same underlying data.
A concise report explains what was found, the assumptions, potential next actions and where a decision needs more evidence.
The result
This is an independent advisory review. It does not provide legal contract advice, detailed electrical design, site supervision or a guaranteed saving. A proposed tariff switch is assessed only after its billing rules and written terms can be checked.
Where the information is incomplete, the recommendation will identify what still needs to be confirmed.
Dykman Consult
Dykman Consult is based in Perth, Western Australia. William Dykman is a Chartered Electrical Engineer who brings a structured engineering approach to electricity costs: checking the bill, examining when a site uses power and testing how tariff and demand rules affect what is actually paid.
The review draws on bills, interval readings and written offers. Transparent Excel calculations and concise findings help site owners and managers separate an operational improvement from a bill saving, and see what evidence is still needed before making a change.
